Day 286 - Bird Party

Driving home from work today I was fascinated by the sun.  It was hazy--stubbornly trying to shine through thick clouds, and it was succeeding just enough to catch my attention.  I took a few shots of it, but nothing very good.

As I came down one road I looked over and saw these birds roosting.  Just what I needed to make the shot a little less boring!

I was looking for just the right shading and was tweaking a few settings and looking through some filter presets.  When I saw this "Yesteryear" preset I stopped right there.  Don't forget:  Click for full screen.
