I just happened to be near one of our local fire stations today when I spotted the extended ladder towering over the building. Cool! The day was sunny enough (which is rare in December anyway) and I needed a photo op. I hurried over and drove into their parking lot. The men were out flushing lines or checking systems or whatever it is that fireguys do on nice days.
I was thankful that I got good colors in my shots. About all I had to do here was some cropping to even things up. Too bad they didn't give me a ride up into the bucket like they did with me and my brother Don when we were much younger... That would have been a
great picture!
